![]() ![]() If your new PC came with Windows 11 then you should make a complete image of the disk before you put the old PC image on it just in case you need it. Have a look in the Knowledge Base if you need more info on Redeploy. This will ensure your new machine will boot up but it will not likely have the proper drivers for your new hardware so you'll have to take of that. If you are moving to different hardware and it is likely you are, you need to run Redeploy. ![]() If you have an image from the broken PC then that isn't a problem but if you can't run it to remove the Macrium license then you'll have to contact Macrium Support. You need to properly disable the key in the old machine, remove Macrium, then you can use the key in your new machine is my understanding. I assume I should install Macrium I purchased in the new pc first? I am not too techy with pcs + deploy etc., so is this the easiest way to get the Macrium 8 I bought for the old pc to put into the new pc then dec aver an image? I have a desktop with win 11 Pro.Ĭan I just remove Macrium from the old and recall an image to the new pc? But if the old pc is broken, can I still just recover an image to the new pc. I have Macrium images in my external drives.
